I have a question, why do we need to copy of our records? I sent the i129f without making any copy. Now Im so nervous. I just got the RFE received yesterday August 14th. Im waiting for my NOA2. Anybody can answer my question?

You need to keep a copy of everything you send them. In case they say that you didn't you can send another copy.

It’s just to be extra safe. Don’t worry if you didn’t. But you should start doing it with any new documents.

Let me put it this way—you don’t need copies until you do.

Does anyone know if USCIS use UPS priority mail?

It's  the government, do you think they'd spend the extra  money on that? No they don't use priority mail, good try anyway 😊

It's very important to keep copies of EVERYTHING you sent in to immigrations, if nothing else for you to have reference to what you told them or how  you answered a question on a particular form or document. Besides in some instances you'll need to refer back to a particular  area later once  you go to the next phase in your visa journey like AOS. Also you need to send your beneficiary copies so they can be aware of what you said also. I could not myself imagine not having complete  copies of my paperwork to include  my petition. In your case you got a RFE do you have an idea why? Perhaps if you had a copy of your petition you might could ascertain the reason. Basicly I guess it's personal preference whether you keep a copy or not. Tidbit for you, immigrations has a copy of what you send (if they don't lose it). They can refer back to what you said or sent in a heartbeat and they do all the time.

Sure, start making copies for all your immigration documents and keep a file in your home. That’s what I do with every document for immigration.

Likewise, very good your practice!

hello guys!

I just got my RFE in the mail and it was for the 2 year requirement meeting. I’ve sent USCIS many pictures and all of our pictures together from our many visits. What I’m going to include:

- passport stamps of both our passports to show we were at the same place at the same time

- flight itineraries for when we both visited each other

- many more additional pictures of us together in each other’s countries

They’ve asked to add letters but we don’t really send letters and communicate through text and FaceTime. What other proof can I add?  Appreciate all the help

Letters? Does they mean letter of intend marry? You can show them the facetime log and all the texts you talk to him/her. You can do that by screen shot and put those picture on word in order
