CFO few days after Interview

My fiancee has her Visa Interview on 4/25 and a CFO appointment on 4/29. I'm guessing that there is a good chance that her passport and visa wont be back before the CFO appointment. The website for CFO says that they need two photo ID, but she is going to only have her Voter ID if the embassy still has her passport. Will CFO still allow her to attend the seminar? Would a copy of her passport suffice? She is fine going back to get the stamp if she has to. Originally had a CFO date for the May 14th, but snagged an earlier appointment when a slot opened up the other day. Thanks for any input or advice.

There have been instances where they have allowed it to be done without the passport physically present, but not sure how frequently they allow it. We did ours before the interview just to avoid this. Keep looking and see if maybe can get an opening before the interview or maybe bump it back a few days? Not sure how long the embassy is taking these days to return passports after the interview, obviously there are different circumstances and all that affect each case uniquely, but even ours took about 8 days which was pretty quick.

If you can't change the CFO appointment, can always just have her go and see if they will accept a copy of not. Also she could call and ask maybe.

Some use the personal copy of the NBI for a second ID (as it has a photo).    Also, the Postal ID now has a photo, she could get an ID there to cover bases.

Good move on grabbing the earlier date

100% chance she will not have it 4 days later

YMMV
