Hi All

we have one document that keeps being rejected over and over for silly reasons and i just want some clarification.

Its a Chinese police certificate and i know others have had problems in the past.

we scanned it black and white because the watermarks will not show up otherwise. the last time we got it back was because they want the English translation as page 1 and the Chinese page 2 and to remove all the other pages.

i spoke to the NVC and as i was hanging up she said it probably should be in colour to see if the stamp is red. well, the stamp is a huge bold black circle on the paper when in black and white. they have never said to us before send it in colour. does anybody know?

We submitted our White Book for the PSB Certificate of Non-Criminal History on March 26.

Color copy.

1st page - white book cover

2nd page - Chinese Notary Certificate with ID photo, seal, and signature in color

3rd page - Chinese Notary Certificate with English translation

Our documents were accepted last night.

When is your priority date (NOA1)?  No interview date yet for us.

For me, NVC has been the most frustrating.  It took them 11 weeks after the USCIS sent it for the NVC to just enter our application into the system.  But for us, the document review went fairly smooth.  3 weeks.

Best of luck!
