But this is clearly sounds like an anti-Trump ad too so.

It sounds fair enough. Getting rid of tourist visa AOS would be a good thing also. Especially since it's usually tied with visa overstay also.

Been hoping for this for awhile, would be nice, but doubtful unfortunately. And it would affect Filipino tourists I know, but hey, has to be applied equally.

While this is just one of several proposals being discussed within the administration, getting rid of B2 overstays would be a good thing. 

 

And while several of his hard-line policies should line the bottom of the dustbin, this one makes sense. B2s are often abused. 

 

And maybe bring B2 admission lengths in line with VWP 90-day max?

I read the article and it seemed there was a disconnect between the heading and the content.

 

Any Comprehensive Immigration Plan would obviously need to address the issue of overstays.

Yeah mandatory Consular visa interview for all overstay beneficiaries is a gud idea. May be even a penalty, like $10 for each day of overstay.

Yes! Let them pay more then 10$ punish them better ! Allow K1 without even meeting face to face ! 

On a serious note- I agree but keep in mind that overstaying few weeks or months for some reasons and overstay for many years with a lot of unauthorized work involved is not the same. 

We will see what will happen and playing lawmakers makes not so much sense .
