My expected NOA2 is mid June, the same time frame that I will be going to visit my fiancé. My question is should I take as much of the paperwork with me that he will need for the interview or do I wait until I return back to the states and send it once we actually have the NOA2 and case number and are sure that all of the financial documents are the most current dates possible. He lives in south east Africa so scanning & sending documents/mailing documents is not always the easiest process not to mention I would love for him to be here as soon as possible but didn't know what would be best.

I am not sure what country but you will find it is very expensive to send papers.

Take all with you if you know it will be close to NOA2 and leave them with him.

Having worked in Africa I understand the issue with mail, but also don't think about cost at this point in time, not going to get any cheaper. Also, taking him the papers won't exactly "speed" it up, but you can definitely if you want fill out the I-134, "pre-date" it and sign it. Then come time for the interview you could email current/up to date copies of pay stubs and all and he could print them. Technically anything you show is just copies already anyways since most are digital these days for payroll services.
