Is the letter/affidavit of advice still needed for the CFO? I don't see it listed on the CFO web site as a document to bring to the CFO seminar.

If it is still required then can someone give a link to find one online?

It isn't listed, they ask for it at times using the "other documents" clause.    CFO will ask for "other documents" when they feel the need; if a person is meek, timid or shy during their one on one interview that is when they get "demanding" for other documents.

If you are a self-assured and confident person very likely you won't have issues.

Thanks for the reply. Better safe than sorry to bring one then. Does anyone have an example that I can create one with?

Most any attorney should have a template on hand .. it has to be notarized if you are going to do this.

Will it be accepted if its not motorized and just witnessed and signed by two people?

IF asked for CFO will want it notarized.

Are you a self-assured and confident person, do you look a person in the eyes when speaking?  If you are not easily intimidated you shouldn't have an issue.

Like said before; CFO tends to focus more closely on the meek, timid or shy type of person.

  • 2 weeks later...

I had my fiance go to the city hall in her city to get the form they have for a letter of advice. She and her mother signed it and the "Municipal Civil Registra" signed and stamped it.  Does that Magistra signature satisfy the notary requirement? The form has no place to fill out notary information even if my fiance went to one.

Being it was stamped by the civil registra I thing all should be fine ... then IF CFO asks for it you are covered.

If your fiancee is a confident and self-assured type person CFO may be a breeze to complete without any "extra" documents requested
