LND Number not received after approval

Hello,

We filed for my husband's visa through DCF London. We received notice of the petition approval over 9 weeks ago, and still have not received his LND number. We contacted them using the contact form on the website provided, but they said his petition was forwarded to NVC. It was my understanding that when filing using DCF we completely bypass NVC. Is this not the case?

We started the process back in November, and then the lovely government shutdown happened so everything seems to be super delayed. Has anyone else run into this issue? We are getting so antsy 😩

Every one tries to blame the shutdown but it had no effect on the uscis or embassy operations 

 

The petition should have simply went from London uscis to London embassy.   I would keep inquiring

Great, thanks. Hopefully, they'll respond soon. It's been a week since we responded to their initial response to our first email, and we've yet to hear back. 

 

The only reason I say it could be the shutdown is because during that time when I checked the website it had not been updated and the page said there would be a delay due to the shutdown. 

We have a very straight forward situation so I naively thought the process would be a bit quicker with DCF

The updating of the website,  absolutely, as that wasn't considered an essential service.   

 

The people performing the day to day process were not affected
