Hi VJ friends, I’m a little confused, I’m sponsoring my wife on a K1. I meet the income limits and I’m only sponsoring my wife. Neither of us have kids or dependents.

My my question is......... it’s just me and my wife ONLY so I’m wondering what numbers need to be in questions 1-8? The household size I’m assuming would be 2 (just me and her live in our house).

I printed the form and I’m hand writing all the information and not on a computer via PDF (auto populate).

The confusion is really questions 1-3 and 8, questions  4-7 for us will be zero (0).

Thanks

Thank you Geowrian, what I have now is questions 1 and 2 have the number 1, questions 3-7 have the number 0 and question 8 has the number 2.

This is what I have and I believe it’s the same as you state geowrian.

You cant sponsor your "wife" you can sponsor your "fiance" for a wife you would need another type of visa. Also for a K-1 visa you would be filling out I-134 and not I-864 there is a difference. Yes household size would be 2.

We are married now and she is my wife so I’m doing the 864 AOS

Very confused now, it looks like your are saying something different than Geowrian?

I think they thought you were still in the K-1 visa process. You’re not. You’re doing AOS from K-1 status now. My advice stands.
