You can usually find that out pretty easily by navigating to the timeline of the user (under their name on the left, on the very bottom). We filed July last year, so it has been a while before we had any movement, but maybe they pick up again now that the covid situation is more under control.

My case just updated today and said new card is being produced! 
I filed in January 2021 and my fingerprints were applied to my case in February 2021, and I had no update until today. No RFE or interview. I literally jumped from my bed lol 

honestly I thought it was gonna take much longer because it’s LIN

That gives some hope to Feb 2021 filers. Hopefully this means we'll get a decision either way within the next 4-6 weeks. This waiting is getting ridiculous! Oh, and congratulations!

It's nice to have a time frame. I filed this February, so now I know not to worry until February next year.

Exactly! Every time I saw someone got their good news and I kept wondering when would be my time to announce it lol

Maybe it’ll come even sooner! I’ve seen people who filed after me got approved couple months ago, LIN center as well. Mine is probably caught up with the pandemic delay.

So today I was checking my status on the USCIS webpage, and I started playing around with some previous numbers to see what the queue looks like. And something that stood out was that my service center (LIN) deals mostly with ROC and I601 waivers of unlawful presence. Out of -say- 20 numbers I checked, at least 15 were 601s. Interesting

Do 601's take longer to process than the ROC's?  (As in more complicated.)  Maybe that's the reason for our very long delay in LIN?

I would think that a 601 is a bit more complicated, because of all the hoops and loops and whatnot. It would be so interesting if someone in the other processing centers would do the same, and see if they find a different pattern.

I sent them a service request for my non existent biometric appointment/ waiver. I got all excited today when I saw I had an email from USCIS, only to find the following: 

The status of this service request is:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received. If after 60 days you have not received anything in the mail, please contact the USCIS Contact Center at the number provided below.

I guarantee you it took them more time to send that email, than to see what the heck is going on with my biometric appointment. Frustrating.
