A bit confused here so any advice is appreciated. 

 

Last night I rec'd a notice via case tracker app that the case is now ready to be scheduled for interview. However, as of this morning no text or email messages received and the status on https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ hasn't changed since March 15, 2019 (ie, case received).   

 

Do I believe the app? Isn't it odd that a text or email wasn't sent (yes, authorization was given for both).

changbaihou: You and I have the same receipt date September 10th 2018 and same location Nebraska. I haven't heard at all after finger prints. Whenever I called they said wait, it tales time, nothing is needed from my end. Not sure why it is taking so long. I will call them once tomorrow to check if they have any update for me, as online status has not changed for more than a year. This is the 18th month that I am waiting after filing.

I waited 22 months the first time around.

Yes, thank you for replying. Wow 22 months is a long wait. 

 

My only concern is that the posting above already got approval long back. And i haven't heard at all. Even though our receipt date and service center are the same.

Perhaps call your Congressman and ask if they can check. Someone somewhere on here said that they cannot make you wait 2 years. I don't know if that is correct.

I do not believe that is correct (Waiting 2 years) as the official published wait times for Nebraska have a high end within normal processing time of 26 months

Well my waiting is 18th month so far. And online it shows an inquiry is allowed after completion of 25 months. But i will try calling the congressman. Thank you!

Yes, it shows 15 months to 25 months as i checked today.

In our case, it took us 16 months to get I-751 approved and we had to submit a request for expedite processing through a state senator's office.

@Gleesonfamily It is hard to say especially with the COVID-19 pandemic going around. According to this website which breaks it down (again, does not apply to everyone) states that interview appointment can happen 8-12 months after filing (https://citizenpath.com/what-happens-after-filing-i-751-petition-to-remove-conditions/).

 

Processing times (https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/) for every Service Center is different so just go to the link. For Nebraska (LIN filers) it is 15-26 months.
