google sheet Processing Times (I-751/I-751A) for Nebraska Service Center (LIN-xxxxxxx)

Gosh, I realize the cases don't always get approved in order of filing, but this seems a little ridiculous.

 

Mailed in the packet on 10/12/2018 and received the NOA on 11/08/2018. Had a biometrics interview back in July of 2019.

Congratulations! Another filer with Nebraska whose 1-751 took almost a year! Did you come here on a K-1 VISA?

It looks like that LIN, compared to other service centers, is slow with biometrics but more likely to approve RoC without interview... just a conjecture...

434 days from my NOA today, 195 from biometrics. No RFE or any other correspondence. When I call or use the chat feature, I just get told everything is normal with the case, I just have to wait.

 

Any other active users well past the year mark?

I went through this with my adjustment of status. Was 655 days from filing to getting my green card. Had my biometrics one month after NOA. And then nothing. It is tough to wait. Perhaps call your congressman at the Washington office (NOT the local one-when I did that nothing happened). When I did that everything happened quickly. Wish I had called them sooner.

I got very lucky with AOS, only took about 3 months, maybe this is karma aha. My K-1+AOS combined took about half as long as this has taken. 

 

I did start looking up the process for getting my representatives involved yesterday. Made an unofficial note to contact them if I don't hear anything by the end of the month.

February 2019 LIN Filer No Biometric appointment till date (11months)  and I have called USCIS twice and their response was a biometric appointment would be scheduled at the appropriate time. Anyone in the same situation

I agree with that. It seems that people who originally went into LIN that almost seemed like it was reviewed previously and it's likely to be approved without interview. Some people who were transferred into Nebraska did go through interviews. Obviously all cases are different and you can't tell on the surface but I could assume that once the cases are opened up and reviewed by the officers they must wind up in the same general type of criteria that wind up without an interview. I also have seen that at Nebraska location the RFEs seemed to be generally minor signature has a document or two etc

I am in the same situation as you. I am gonna apply for my citizenship next month, this wait is torture and Mostly of the jobs i am applying for requires clearance.

my friend just text me now saying they called her for an interview and she applied for removal

of conditions less then 5 months ago I’d rather have the interview then wait 2 years to receive this damn GC without it.

Timeline for my I-751 LIN case below. Received an update yesterday that it was approved without an interview.
 

 

January 16, 2020Case Was Approved

January 16, 2020New Card Is Being Produced

October 2, 2019Fingerprint Review Was Completed

March 7, 2019Case Was Received

I truly understand your suffering. The truth is, unfortunately, every case is different and every officer examining or case is different. If we still fall into the processing time period, that are still working their bounds. I would go for the citizenship to push the ROC. MY 2 cents

Unfortunately my husband hasn't decided if he wants to apply for citizenship, so we can't use the filing of that to push this application. 

 

I'd be more than willing to do an ROC interview if it meant getting approved in the next few months.

I applied end of November 2018, case received December 3, had bio done in July 2019 and yet to hear anything. Case status is still case received with no update, last “touched” 02/19/19. 412 days and counting.

Right. I will do my citizenship next month.
