Received approval notice today. ROC sent September Sept 27 2018, fingerprints taken July 2, 2019. No interview necessary. Received a text message saying it was updated and to check Case Status online. Total time taken was  10 months and a few days. Nebraska Center

Case Was Returned To USCIS By The Executive Office of Immigration Review

On August 1, 2019, the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) returned your case, Receipt Number WAC1821xxxx, to a USCIS office for review. We will notify you of our action within 60 days of the EOIR decision. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

My understanding of this message is:

The EOIR already picked your son's case, reviewed and made an decision. They will let you know the decision very soon (much less than 60 days).

Don't think it's a big deal since EOIR has returned your son's case back to USCIS.

Don't know what kind of office the EOIR is. It's my first time seeing this name.

Anyway, no worries, just wait for the notification. I guess it's something about age of 21. They checked and don't think there is a problem, then everything back to normal.

Thanks for the reply. My heart dropped and am extremely worried. My boy came here before he even turned 21, never did any crime and is doing great in his job. I really hope they made a positive decision on my son’s case.

They already returned the case back to USCIS for further processing, that means no problem.

Ok OMG... my son’s case update:

August 1, 2019

Case Was Transferred To Schedule An Interview

 

On August 01, 2019, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC1821xxxx to our local USCIS office to have an interview scheduled. This office will schedule your interview and mail you an interview notice. If you move before you receive the interview notice, please go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

 

 

...not fun but then again at least there is a good chance to prove himself worthy of that 10-year green card. I think my blood pressure went up sky high for worrying about nothing.  My husband will go with him at the interview, if he is permitted to do so.

I know I have been checking the status for me and my son a lot lately after we received a few updates from my boy’s email 😁.  I checked the status again this morning and this is the message we received using the old website:

 

“IT WAS REPORTED TO US THAT YOUR IP ADDRESS OR INTERNET GATEWAY HAS BEEN LOCKED OUT FOR A SELECT PERIOD OF TIME. THIS IS DUE TO AN UNUSUALLY HIGH RATE OF USE. IN ORDER TO AVOID THIS ISSUE, PLEASE CREATE A CUSTOMER ACCOUNT (SINGLE APPLICANT) OR A REPRESENTATIVE ACCOUNT (REPRESENTING MANY INDIVIDUALS).”

I got the same response when I tried checking my status yesterday on the old website.. I guess because I have been checking my status may a hundred times a day 😅
