Good evening,

I am trying to schedule my fiance interview for the K1.  When I go to the site I created a username and password it only gives me 2 options IV address Registration and Non immigrant.  It does not give me the selection of immigrant.  Is there something wrong with the system? Please help

From the post of another Morocco member who emailed the embassy and got this response

"Fiancé K-1 Visas
We are currently experiencing a high volume of fiancée petitions. We are scheduling interviews in the order in which the petitions were received at our office, and will send this interview notice to the applicant by email, along with further instructions. Any petitions that expire during this period will be extended as necessary to cover the additional time. At present, the interview backlog spans three to four months following the date which NVC forwards approved I-129F petitions to U.S. Consulate General Casablanca. In preparation for the interview, applicants are welcome to review our Fiancé

Since when? You used to be able to schedule your k1 interview.  The one I thought you waited for was the spousal visa

I don't know since when, it's just wgat it is, k1s you wait for an email from them , you can email if you want to see if you get lucky and they assign an interview but you just wait for them.

Even in 2009 when we tried for a K1 the interview (then ) was scheduled by embassy and an interview packet back then came to the beneficary's house

for a tourist visa (B type) the person schedules online for the interview but not K1

and this is a good thing because if you had to do it ,  you would be trying hourly to find an open spot as Casa does almost 100 a week

this is a waiting game from start to finish and i mean till the whole process to naturalization is done'

be patient

get yourself prepared now by learning every big and little thing about your fiancee, her family and her life in the USA

be prepared to answer the difficult questions

this embassy is very serious about giving out a visa so you need to be serious and sincere

always be honest in your answers to the CO

have a plan for your life in the USA (like work or study here),

don't quit a job

don't sell any property

don't buy a plane ticket till a visa is in your hand

and don't be surprised if the case goes into AP

and don't be surprised if you are told to fill out a ds5535 or have to send additional documents to support your case

3 to 4 months‽ That's gross. I'd say they need more people to help with the work load. 😯
