So I was thinking (and yes, it hurt) - does anyone know exactly how and when are MTL interviews scheduled? I get all confused between K's, CR1/R1 and DCF's (our case). I know that the forst 2 go through USCIS and it's a whole different process than DCF (not going through NVC or whatever that's called), but was wondering :help: .

I think misa answered this somewhere else, but please post again!!! It will help us all waiting to be more aware of how the ball rolls.

Thanks!!!

I am assuming that you are refering to scheduling of the interviews?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but what I understand is that

CR1/IR1s interview dates are scheduled by the NVC

K1/K3 DCF scheduled by the Consulate

NVC schedules interviews for Montreal about 1-2 months from completion? (not completely sure on this one)

Right now Montreal is scheduling interviews at about 5-6 months from receiving packet 3.

Thanks Lance, that sounds about right - I still wonder when does MTL schedule DCF'ers... once a month? as they please? Wisdom, anyone?

Don't know about DCFs. They *used* to schedule them pretty quickly (look for marriedmylove's timeline) but now, who the hell knows.
