They are already being released into US cities. By law they can only be detained for a set period of time and then released. Trump's just trying to spread the love around. Why should border towns and the nearest big city have all the fun???

I think the evidence is very clear.  President Obama was looking at doing something similar for political reasons (see earlier posts), and there was absolutely no caterwauling from the Democrats.  Seems very hypocritical to me.  As to the Trump trolling with this plan, I personally don't agree with it, and based on the 9th Circuit ruling it appears asylum seekers can for now be kept in Mexico, so more than likely it will not happen, but it is fun to watch.

Agreed, if they have to be released, it would seem a sanctuary city would be the best and safest place.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
