London is in the country of England. Check under E

I just quoted this here because it is going along the lines of using CEAC, so I am trying to check our case status in CEAC, and I am choosing non-immigrant visa category, England,London  and putting in our case number we received from the NVC tonight, and it is saying "Invalid application ID or case number", even though I am putting it in exactly how they gave it to us, and I even read the case number back to the worker at the NVC to make sure I had written down the correct case number.

Why would it be giving me this?  Is there something I am doing wrong?

Choose immigrant tracking and input your LND #

YMMV

You have to use Immigrant for everything... checking status, making your interview appointment, contacting the embassy using the contact form, and getting in line at the embassy if there's a lot of people. That is because the Immigrant Visa Unit is handling all your paperwork and interview even though your visa is nonimmigrant. It's a clerical thing. Your status will even say Immigrant, but you aren't really.

Thanks so much for clearing this up! :) I know we have been asking lots of questions, but everyone here answering our questions so far has been so much help and we are so thankful, we can't say it enough how much we are both thankful for all the help and support.

You guys all here make this process so easy and simple answering everything, we got our case status today so it shouldn't be long now!

I did just post on our medical thread about original certification for vaccinations because we are still a little puzzled about what exactly that means

I don't know what they mean by that, but accepted are print outs from your summary, typed and signed or stamped by the surgery, or like in my case, the nurse scrawled it all out in handwriting and signed her name and wrote the surgery address.  I think the clinic just means something "official" -ish. You can't just go in and say I had all my shots already. They want dates and proper naming of what you had and they say dosage number but I don't think that was available to oldsters like me.

alright, she had a print out from her surgery so that her records should be fine, for the ds-160 we choose non-immigrant or immigrant?  Was just a little confused by the because I know we go through immigrant for everything else, but since the visa is technically classified as non-immigrant I just wanted to make sure which to choose for doing the ds-160

Your visa is a Nonimmigrant, not technically...definitely Nonimmigrant. The application is DS160.

The thing about Immigrant is when you want to check your status, or email the embassy, or get Into their interview portal, you need to reach the people who have your paperwork. That is the Immigrant Visa Unit. For your required paperwork, always refer to the Lo don K1 instructions https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/ and they give you the right links.

Follow the four Steps:
