Thanks, different topic but hope you have any insight. When I entered US as a new canadian citizenship should I update USCIS about the change in citizenship.  I checked Form I-90 that you have to complete that if there's any changes to your status like name or civil status but nowhere there a section to update in case you changed citizenship. Any thoughts?

While you will enter with a new passport,  you are entering as a US Resident which is more important than as a Canadian citizen

YMMV

Don't over think things. When you enter the US for the first time the visa is activated and you become an LPR right then and there.

If a month later you become a citizen of Canada, well good for you. It won't come up unless or until you apply for something else through USCIS.

If the time line was reversed and you were going to become a Canadian citizen BEFORE you enter and become an LPR that would be a different story.

Agreed.  Only because of the Visa being in a different countries passport than the valid passport used for entrance

thanks for your response, if you don't mind, can you elaborate on " If the time line was reversed and you were going to become a Canadian citizen BEFORE you enter and become an LPR that would be a different story." I would like to know different scenario and point of view.
