There is no guarantee you’ll get to mention about daughter and mon during the next interview and even if you get a chance, it may not affect your chance of approval at all.

Your single status and probably your age may be the main factors for your denial.

I am 46 years old, will it affect the application aside from the fact that I am single. My colleague got approved, he is single and only 30 years old.

Live training session through video will not work. This training is for all sales people worldwide.

Is there only 1 training session, and that too only in the US?

Not everyone worldwide would get a US visa, so employers worldwide have to have other options, like in HK/Singapore, etc.

Most training sessions for the company is in the US. Our headquarters is in the US. This is the reason why. Facilities are there, etc.

You can't compare two visa applications. They all individual. FIlipinos, unfortunately have left children (and/or elderly parents) behind in the past to migrate to the US.

That's true. Honestly, I don't have plans to migrate there.

They surely have satellite offices in other countries, no?

Alternative option is for the company to send training staff to Philippines. Happens all the time, for example in India. US trainers go to India because Indians have issues obtaining visas too.

Yes definitely we have offices worldwide but again the company does most training in the US. That's something I cannot change. So they have asked me to reapply as we have a sure trip to the US yearly for the Kick off.

I was going to guess but lets be clear, where did you apply for the visa?

I applied in the Philippines.

Well they are paying for the application and your time so no downside, just go for it.

Yup! I just follow what they say.

When they ask why do u want to go, may be even say, you don’t wanna go to US at all but you have to go coz your employer is making you go for the job’s sake.

They might approve it thinking, “Wow this girl don’t want to go US, lets send her so she sees how beautiful US is.”

Probably did not help, how could they guarantee your return?

That part is an overkill. They can guarantee your employment will be intact once you return but they can’t guarantee you will come back.
