A couple of I-751 questions!

Hello

I searched through the forum and guide for answers to these, but did not turn up anything:

Should I put Melissa's new last name (her married name) as her family name on part 4 of I-751 where it says 'information about the spouse or parent through whom you gained your conditional residence'? Or should I put her maiden name?

Why is yet another biometrics appointment (and FEE) necessary after already having fingerprints and photos taken during the first part of this ordeal? I'm a little fed up of travelling to my local office at the derelict shopping mall in Hammond, Indiana.

One last thing - does anyone know if Nebraska Service Center prefers checks or money orders for the I-751 fees?

Many Thanks for this and past help, VisaJourney community!

Peter

If she is using her married name, write in her married name. If she is using her maiden name, write in her maiden name.

'Tis the nature of the beast. I'm not a huge fan of traipsing to Oklahoma City all the time, but it's something that has to be done, so I do it.

I don't think any of the service centres have any specific preference, or it would be spelled out on the form. Just make sure it's made out correctly, with the right amount, and that you sign it. :)

Best wishes!
