Good that you were able to get on Visajourney!  Hopefully the prior posts have been a source of strength and information for you as you go through this.

In terms of evidence, the outcome of it/how much it helps will depend on what exactly you have.

hi i hope you can see this reply.

I saw you original response so seems that there is no doubt he was a player but being a player is not the same as Fraud.

1. No he was both player and fraud. I have some evidence and it will be his word against mine. I will bring witnesses.

2. As the lawyer in jordan told me (and others out there) and I will quote him because he knows as he seen and processed for them. He said many guys did this and they got away with it. No one knows or finds out until many years later. Seems innocent. They create an uncomfortable atmoshphere for their american wives. Deliberately making it unbearable. Like he decides to be lazy, unemployed or UNDERemployed he said, purposely want to be unattractive, mean, creates problems so the divorce is initiated by the american wife. Once granted they take a trip back home. Meet with their past love and get married. She comes here to live with him. All planned. He said maybe it is not his long time love. But he ALWAYS RETURNS home to marry the younger country girl of same culture and religion. I wish he warned me of this when I first met him in Jordan when I had him consult with me on our K1. He met with my ex after I filed D160 and I wish he said something to me then. He said there is not way of knowing. Some do stay married. For those that dont this is what happens. This one is not going to get away with it as I found out before he got his Visa and i will make sure he never steps foot here!!.

1. It did sound like it would be his word against yours, I am not sure what process you are referring to which involves witnesses.

2. Obviously it does happen and we have seen many cases on VJ, to clarify there is no relevance in who initiates the Divorce.

If you mean copies of chat messages from third parties outside of your relationship, not much in terms of evidence as it didn't come directly from him/his words.  It's basically hearsay, then.  Screenshots of him sending romantic posts during the duration of your relationship to another woman is evidence of a crummy relationship, not immigration fraud (in the eyes of USCIS).

Bring witnesses to....where?  There's no kind of immigration court proceeding he or you would be called to in this case.

Any subsequent K1 he gets petitioned for in the future will likely get some extra scrutiny depending on what (if anything) gets recorded in his file...however doesn't necessarily prevent him from obtaining other types of visas in the future based on overall circumstances when applied for (ie. tourist/student/work).

Now is the time for you to work on picking yourself up and moving on (hopefully to a better relationship in the future!) I understand your frustration and anger with all of this---You've done what you can at this point, which was notify the embassy of the cancelled petition.

If he does successfully obtain another type of visa in the future, you would have no way of knowing anyhow if he did ever "step foot here" unless you catch wind of it somehow either from him or a mutual friend/acquaintance.

@SarahX20 Read this. As I said, cancel and do nothing more. If evidence is requested, send what you have. You cancelled either way and evidence may be for notating fraud for his file, if they see it that way. If not so be it. Like Attorney Woods said, cancelling was enough and do nothing more other than what is asked. ❤️

I have heard many stories where GENIUS attempts to trick spouses or defraud the system in getting to the US  but never anything like this. I though these type of stories can only be heard from Africa but I guess I was wrong and This is definitely in the top 10 of my all time stories.

So sad to see this lovely woman going through this ordeal but at the same time happy to see she has a strong friend that are helping her along.

Thank you @SJordanS, I wish anyone in similar situation would get a friend like you!

@KlametJourney you will surely need to edit one of your top 10 stories because few months back there was a case here on Vj of a man who successfully immigrated to the US to marry his fiancée and later, she discovered that he was in a gay relationship with another man who just could not qualify to bring him to the states so he used the unfortunate lady to get to the states. Somany terrible things happen nowadays and not just from Africa :)

Btw the dude in question is a french citizen and is back in France now from what I read on the post at that time.

That is so sweet of you to say. Sarah  is a friend worthy of helping believe me when I tell you that. It’s recovery time for her and as I said, better to know now than later.

Now I am confused.

Sarah you are very brave and strong! If all of us were this way, these types of scenarios would never happen, I am happy that you got out before really big damage happened, I know it's hard when we have to let go of someone we love but it is for the best and your future self will thank you one day, stay strong xoxoxo
