Hi Everyone, was hoping someone with more knowledge could help me. My husband and me will be filing beginning of Oct/Nov this year, so trying to get all info  regarding forms to use now. My understanding is, are we ok to use for I-864EZ, as my husband is a US citizen living there, ( I am in UK), he will be using his income to support/sponser me, and I am the only person coming to the US. Would that be correct to use that form, or do we use I-864A. Thank you for any help. Sandy

When filing the initial petition you use neither.  Several months later, he can use the I-864EZ if he qualifies by answering the first three questions on the form with an honest yes. If not, he will use the I-864.  When the time comes, HE would be wise to become an A student of the actual form instructions for affidavit of support.

NOW, he should become an A student of the I-130 instructions.  Time for study.  You'll never know which questions to ask until the form instruction AND forms themselves are STUDIED CAREFULLY.  None of us can do that FOR either of you.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
