Old name on I-94

Good day! 

Will try to make this as brief as possible. 

Went into the I-94 website and travel history is displayed just perfectly, from all visits made before and after the name change (Can use my current name to get this information) went into the "get most recent I-94" section, system shows the latest I-94 being my last visit with my old name (I had to put my old name into the system, with the current name, says no traveler information found) 

2 questions. 

1. Can I get this corrected while not being in the U.S? 
2. Could this cause a possible RFE in our petition if by a or b reason the adjudicator checks the website and sees no info with my current name?

Yes, my old name does not exist since 2016. 

 

I provided passport stamps, alongside the tourist visa side of my passport plus the itineraries and boarding passes for both of the flights that I've had towards the U.S. alongside the travel history part of the I-94 website (by the time that we sent the packet, my travel history did not reflect my departure but I'm hoping that my most recent Costa Rican entrace stamp

shows them that I did come back) 

 

Alongside proof of my name change of course, such as my old and new ID's +  official certificate stating the name change

You can’t change that then without visiting POE or Deferement centers. But i don’t think you have to worry about it as you have provided passport stamps, iteneraries and name change proof.

 

When you travel to US next time, may be make sure you tell them to use correct name at POE.
