Texas Service Centre - past processing estimated time

On the immigration timeline page, it states that the petitions with NOA1 of the TSC date of August 20 2018 is currently being processed. My date is before then - August 13. I assume this date is a computer calculation - is this true? Have people found this to be accurate?

It jumps around depending on who enters what into their timeline. My I-130 got approved at TSC on 11/28/18 when the VJ timeline was saying they're working on petitions received 2-3 weeks before my priority date. It's only going based off of VJ member data not the grand scheme of ALLLL the petitions received from all over.

 

It'll be a different date everyday. Sometimes 5 days ahead then the next day it can jump back 10 days.

The VJ estimate is only as good as the information that users input as that is how the estimates are generated. The date on the immigration timeline page is constantly jumping around. If someone from July is approved, that date will jump backward quite a few days. If someone from September is approved, it jumps forward quite a few days. Currently, there are people from many dates in August posting approvals here, as well as some September filers. There are also some (at least one off the top of my head) filers from earlier months that are still waiting, and many who have never come back to update their timelines.
