What ever you do, when you fly back with her, do not re-enter the country at JFK or LaGuardia. I hear those two are nightmares for immigrants entering the country. My wife enter the US in Atlanta. They checked her documents and checked her out in the DHS system and she was on her way. No issues.

La Guardia?  Check your sources,  La Guardia has no international flights.

JFK is not a nightmare airport

Hmmm.  What have you heard? How can it be a nightmare? Immigrants with proper visas don't have issues entering the US 99.999% of the time.

That's the usual process everywhere, including JFK.......

Both just go thru the non citizen line.  There won't be any issues.   Technically the Mobile Passport Line is just for American and Canadians.

If you travel after she gets her GC she can use the citizen line and even apply for Global Entry.  We travel back to Philippines via LAX last december, before she had Global Entry, and it was super easy and fast.

LOL

I used to fly for a commercial airline and frequently flew out of JFK before

9/11 and it was a nightmare then. I have known several people who has had their fiancé enter the US thru JFK. The lines were extremely long and they seemed to really get screened hard before granting entry, even with proper and abundant documentation.

JFK isn't the only port that has long lines.   For someone who has actually transited JFK with a fiancee Visa i can tell you, not so bad.

I went through Mobile Passport myself in Boston in February, asked the Security person hypothetically if I could bring my babe through that line with me and he indicated it wouldn't be a problem.  Worth a shot.  Worst case they redirect you.  Not the end of the world.

I may make a game time decision when it's THE day.  Maybe survey the area and go with my gut.

I just found this:

https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/441/~/travelers-eligible-to-file-a-joint-or-family-declaration-on-a-cbp-form-6059b

Pay particular attention to the following:

In accordance with 19 CFR 148.34(b) member of a family residing in one household includes all persons who meet the following three conditions:

            1. Are related by blood, marriage, or adoption;

         2. Lived together in one household at their last permanent residence; and

         3. Intend to live together in one household after their arrival in the United States.

#3 seems to apply to your fiancee who is entering the country to live with you.  So I think you can bring her through the Mobile Passport line (or citizen line) with you.  I think I will try this and report back to everyone but, at the present time, that's a couple of months away (unfortunately).
