You go to the field office page on USCIS' website and put your zip code in to see which field office is yours.

Since you came on a CR-1 visa you will have an interview for your ROC, so you can may as well file for citizenship asap after becoming eligible. That way you can have both interviews in one, so you don't have to get interviewed twice.

Good evening, All.

I just received my transfer letter today after the status update online last week Wednesday. I find it weird that they transferred my case from the Texas Service Center ( apparently the fastest one currently ) to the NBC. We had an interview for the AOS and have not filed tor the N-400. Is anyone else in the same situation?

I was transferred to NBC from Vermont last Oct 29, got the letter today. I have a CR-1 visa, did biometrics and is still a few months away from N-400 eligibility. I am not sure what to expect next, still looking for more info online.

They just approved the case number immediately before my husband’s without an interview. Now to obsessively refresh and see if we get lucky...

Hello DiamondEyes

The case number that got approved without interview, did that status ever change to ready to be scheduled for an interview or it just got approved after the bio metrics update. I also applied on Jan 10th and my case is currently showing ready to be scheduled for an interview as of 10/21.

It went straight to approved. I have seen others that went from Ready to Schedule Interview to Interview Cancelled to Approved. I think that happens when the reviewing officer at your local office waived the interview. So don’t totally lose hope yet! 🤞

Fingers crossed! I did submit plenty of supporting evidence and was not expecting an interview. Keep us posted about your case. Good luck!
