Any one thinking about applying for N400 when time comes since seems most of us here might get interviews or you you guys perfer waiting till you are done with I751

Definitely filing for N400 when eligible.  From my point of view, no sense in waiting until I-751 is approved.

I think that is probably the route my wife will takes also.......I haven't see any evidence that it causes any delays.........does it?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

You need to keep in mind your local office process time for N400 as your I751 will wait till your turn comes for the N400. I think if you have fast local office with n400 definitely do it if not maybe wait that any other thoughts

I was playing USCIS app and my IP got lock up due to high usage....

for the receipt#, I googled it and hope it is correct

Example: MSC 19 908 XXXXX

MSC (service center)

19 (year 2019)

908 (computer working day)

XXXXX (just numbers)

I was trying to figure how may I-751 as # start with MSC 19 908 (I search for 2000 data, then USCIS block me...)

so far I only found 53 of I-751 cases,  and 16 with fingerprint reviewed

hope USCIS unblock me tomorrow...

Omg how many numbers did you run?

I've been tryin to do the same but couldn't find any, I guess you're more persistent than Im.

Would you please share those numbers with us?

Thank you

I think Doing it combo will make it take longer, since you're adding unknown factors to a very complicated situation , yet alone backlog and case transfer are a huge causes of delays.

Id like that to go smoothly hassle free, and after I have it in my hand, I can either go for 3 yrs citizen ship and gathering evidence again or 5 yrs easy one.

That is the big question......Is it a concurrent process, once N-400 is filed? The big disadvantage in my mind is the hassle of not having a valid I-551 card for a longer period......after 18 months, getting a stamp, etc.

While its a great subject to talk, do you have any idea if they consider the interview at embassy with a consular as USCIS interview and might waive the interview based on memorandum dated December 10th?

I am under the theory that maybe the CR-1s who interviewed at embassies and not USCIS offices are the ones being sent to NBC.   I mean we are all speculating at this moment, but there seems to be a pattern.

From other VJ forums, it looks like Seattle is backed up, so I really hope we can get this over and done with quickly.

I've heard some ppl have second extension letter! Which I hope non of us gets to that point. But you are still asking a legit qs.

Personally I'll wait till this one is over.

So do you think nation wide all CR1 cases are being routed to NBC

Biometrics completed..........took about 30 minutes total time in the office.  We had to go to the USCIS Dallas North (USCIS Application Support Center).  It is easy to get to just off I-635.  Fortunately, we live in Fate, TX which is only about 20 miles away.   The staff there were very friendly and efficient.
