Hi everybody, does anyone have any updates? I have a MSC case March 2020 filler, I received a letter for my biometrics appointment but the appointment was when the office was closed due the COVID, after that I didn’t received anything no updates no letter or something, and the status of my case is the same just case received

I filed on June 2020. Only I have the extension letter. Nothing about Biometrics yet.From Extension letter to receive biometrics letter how long it took for u?

On March 13 i received the extension letter and the appointment for biometrics on March 16 and the appointment was for March 30 but it was closed.

That was quick. but it's unfortunate that your biometrics is still pending. call the USCIS and ask if they can reschedule your date. As things started opening , they might be able to reschedule your biometrics.

I am May 2020 filer and have extension letter. no biometric and did not receive any letter related to biometric. online status case was received since 26 May 2020

Seems like we all are in the same boat. Hope to hear something soon. They should start scheduling the Biometrics now. specially as they are open Now.

No Hope of moving forward guys. I haven't heard after my biometrics which was done in April 2019. Since then its been showing the same status of Case is ready to be scheduled for interview. Its been 15+ months and no news at all. Even my extension letter is about to get expired in less than 15 days. Hopefully I get to hear something this week or next otherwise will have to get an appointment to local office to inquire about it.

Really sad to hear that. Did u apply for citizenship yet? And about your ROC try calling the service center and ask what's going on. I heard MSC was faster. But Now seems like it is not 😒

It is true that all the cases on MSC are going to interviews?

I guess So. Becoz Most people who came here as CR1, get MSC for their Roc,Which might require an interview within this country. but Not Sure.We might get an interview. chances are high.

We are in the exact same position! My husbands expires next month. I just called the call center and they are only scheduling appointments if you can show proof it’s an emergency.

Yeah. I got same response on getting the appointments in local office to get some reply on what the case is doing or if I can get a extension letter or something until I hear on my case. But only thing I got was wait for the deadline of your extension letter to be over and then we can see if its an emergency and issue an appointment.
