Just saw this MSC i-751 filer on Facebook who got an approval without interview. You guys could be just as lucky, too early to tell but at least a bit of hope.

This is encouraging, thank you for sharing.  This person mentioned they're waiting for N400 interview - I wonder if s/he also filed N400 and that is pending...

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

She did, she says she filed the N-400 back in January.

Thank you

I would also like to add that before interview we had to wait about 30 mins before being called. The Immigration Officer apologized for keeping us waiting as she said "They put you in wrong section, I was looking for you for a while". My understanding of this is that for people whose cases are pretty straight forward, they are kept in ?different section/?subset of interviewees and the interview is just a formality. Again, this is just my interpretation. Could be wrong.

@just_passing_by2 hi, was it your only interview or you had another interview before receiving the conditional green card?

Is your interview canceled?

It is, but I'm still hoping for a virtual interview tomorrow 😂

All jokes aside, all interviews have been cancelled from March 18 to at least May 3.

What's your local office?

I did.  They sent out a cancellation notice as soon as they announced the in-person services suspension on their website.

What's your status?

When someone submits a ROC to either the Texas or Arizona address do they all then get transferred to the MSC to get processed?

Additionally, with the EO am I correct in saying that this does not effect those with a green card who are in the US and will be applying to remove conditions?

No, only i-751 cases that need interviews are instantly routed to MSC. Those cases are those that hasn't been interviewed for the conditional greencard inside the US (like CR-1, but also K-1 cases who didn't have interviews for their AOS etc). MSC is called NBC nowadays, it's the service center that prepares cases for interviews. Now during Corona things have changed a bit, some get approved without an interview, who normally would've been interviewed.

From the looks of it, the new EO does not affect anybody who already has a greencard.

Thanks for confirming the EO does not affect those who already have a GC in the US for RoC and can resume this process.

If a spouse had been interviewed at AoS does it mean the RoC interview gets waived or can they be interviewed again? I assume it may also be determined by the amount of evidence that is provided when removing conditions too.

If the MSC does not process their case what center would? I am just wondering if certain service centers have faster processing times than others.
