Awesome! I filed at the end of December/beginning of January and will be going for biometrics next week.

It seems St Louis isn't a super busy local office so hopefully you'll be hearing some news in the next couple of months! Keep me posted!

I had my biometrics appointment a day before Thanksgiving.

I hope for a smooth journey for us!

Of course I'll keep you posted, you do the same!🙃

Out of curiosity, do we have MSC people or MSC transfer people who have NOT had to be interviewed? I've seen about 4 cases among posters here, but wanted to see who else might have been in the same boat.

From my observation, folks who have not been through the AOS process will be interviewed.  Those who have been through the AOS process and was interviewed by USCIS may or may not be interviewed.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

Hi, gentle request to whoever is changing the formatting on the MSC spreadsheet: please change it back to how it was before when you are finished, please. It's very difficult to read and see any trends now.

Thank you.

Quick update on our case. We sent a congressional inquiry a few weeks ago to see if the congresswoman's immigration worker would be able to get a straight answer from USCIS regarding interview processing times in Atlanta, besides "they're backlogged". The congresswoman's worker got back to us and explained our case is still at NBC. He said the Atlanta field office requested the case to be sent to them, but there is no timeline regarding how long it'll take the case to actually arrived. He said that once it arrives at the field office,  they will start the process for scheduling the interview. Hes not sure how long it will take the case to reach the field office, but will reach back out to NBC tomorrow to try and get an update .And here I thought the case was already in the field office just waiting in line 😆

Ah well, T-minus 5 days until we apply for Citizenship! 🙌

PonJor we're in line behind you for our Removal of Conditions on Residency [I-751 petition filed 05/20/2019] at MSC awaiting the consistently "backlogged" Atlanta USCIS Field Office's follow-up/through on whether an interview appointment will be scheduled, or the 10 year green card approved and issued. We've our N-400 paperwork ready to submit on May 20, 2020 for USA citizenship. Aside from the long wait...our lives go on as usual with our embracing future goals that we'll achieve in our lives, and we will continue to move forward with our happiness and well being!  Saludos y felicidades siempre amigo compadres de México!

I don't know if its possible, but they should try to approve some of our applications without an interview to alleviate some of the backlog. We just submitted our application today at 10:55 a.m., but when we submitted it the receipt showed that we paid at 5:55 a.m. And yes, this is definitely a marathon not a race. Like you say, nothing to do but move forward with future goals and happiness and well being! Igual saludos y que termine rapido tu proceso compadre! :)

We submitted our N400 today and will be joining the N-400 and I-751 Combo Pending thread. Also,  a word of caution for those who want to apply for the N400 online. For whatever reason, the payment/submission of the application was 5 hours past our actual Eastern time. I think missileman talked about this and cautioned against filing on the day of eligibility.

Good luck to everyone on their journeys and may we all hear good news soon!

That's good and wish you an easy application.

Does your credit card get charged once you submit the application?

How to tell exactly the eligibility day?

Thanks

Thank you!

Yes, it was charged as soon as we submitted the application and the charge went through a day later.

We applied via the 3 year rule and used this calculator:https://www.uscis.gov/forms/uscis-early-filing-calculator to know the eligibility day.

Hubby became a permanent resident 5/1/17, so 90 days before 5/1/20 is 2/1/20. But we applied on 2/2/20.
