For those who are waiting for an interview to be scheduled: Where are you finding stats regarding your local office's waiting time? I've read that people say to go look at it, but I'm not sure exactly where to find it? Are they referring to N400 stats? I thought I-751s and N400 are scheduled differently so you wouldn't be able to compare those times?

Does anyone have any information or suggestions?

We're in Atlanta and I'd like to know what the waiting time frame is for that office. I've tired to find some timelines on VJ, but they're don't seem to be too many.

Thank you!

Actually I been trying to find stats regarding local office waiting times for (MSC) and I called USCIS,  seems like there's no answer for this issue!

There's a topic here for the N-400 waiting times which I'm sure it's different than the I-751

Right! I've looked and the time seems different. I also heard that the time you've been waiting for an I-751 interview counts towards your N-400 interview waiting time as well. But, I'm not sure how true that is.

@Ring of the lord@gregcrs2

One of my colleagues' husband applied for citizenship last year and was told by USCIS that the time you've waited for an I-751 counted towards your N-400 processing time.

I'm not sure how true that it is, because it was my understanding that I-751 and N-400 can be filed concurrently, but are on separate paths. Also, I know USCIS workers and their information aren't too reliable to begin with 🙄

The only thing makes me think that I-751 doesn't count toward N-400 processing time, that I checked some timelines of petitioners here who have pending (I751 and N400) and they been waiting for the N400 for more than 10,11 months which says the 2 petitions are not connected.

if that is the case then i will go head to apply online N400 On February and its the Election year so i will take that chance instead of waiting for another year of 1 751 pending

I think my wife is going to submit her N-400 in March.......I hear fees are going increase a great deal sometime in 2020.......We want to apply before that increase.

Ugh. I was thinking it would only be like 6-8 months. Wishful thinking!

Based on how long everything is taking, we're also going to go ahead and apply in February.

Do you know when the fees will increase? I remember reading it was going to become effective in the second year of the financial year that started in October 2019. So would this mean the increase would go into effect October 2020?

With me the fees increase or not is not a big deal. since the average time for Dallas field office for N400 is about a year, so we will wait to clear the ROC first.

Well, MSC is just hold the file and contact the local field office to schedule interview. How fast people get their interview for ROC will depend on how busy that local office was, not MSC.

Well, I am not talking about the interview schedules for the local offices. I am talking about the review processing times of MSC.
