Usually after around two months of biometrics appointment case become ready to be scheduled for an interview, but we don’t know abt uscis process for sure.

I just got a notification this morning that my case is ready to schedule an interview. Biometrics was done almost 80 days ago and my petition was submitted 4 months ago.

As a note my case status on both websites was never updated after Biometrics. It was showing "Case was received on ....". Today the old website shows the new status, but the new website still has the "Case was received...".

Yesterday USCIS  Case Status updated to;

As of September 18, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number MSC19910XXXXX, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

We're now transitioning into autumn pre-hibernation mindset mode to await notification of interview scheduled communque... Another procedural step completed, and the beginning of our countdown to either an interview or PLR ten year card issuance approval!  It's just a USCIS scenario abiding a passage of time of wait and see.

Hi Mxcompadre,

I've been following your I-751 timeline closely because Atlanta is our local office too.  If I could bother you with a question:  any theory why there's such a time gap between your NOA and the scheduling of your biometrics appointment, approximately 4 months?  Looking at the MSC spreadsheet, most have their biometrics appointments scheduled pretty quickly after NOA, between a few days and a few weeks.  Do you think having Atlanta as the local office is a factor?  Thanks in advance for your insight, and congrats on the movement towards the 10-year green card!

Same here.  Now at 168 days since "Ready to be scheduled for interview".  107 more days until filing for citizenship.  So looking forward to not dealing with immigration ever again.

It's so frustrating that the quickness of getting an interview seems random (or at least by local office). Since you've been waiting so long, I hope they just approve your case and don't even bother with any interview.

It seems random even within the same office.  Saw one person filed in March with the same local office and already approved and received their green card!

Interesting but your case seems to have got transferred ...so I guess that timeline doesn't apply to those of us who started with NBC....  it seems we are on about two months from biometrics date.

Yes, I'm not sure whose timeline I should be following. SRC is notoriously slow, so I'm hoping things will move quicker because of the transfer.

I think the average is about two months, but it also seems random at times.
