It could mean there will be more I-751s approved without interviews.  My analysis indicates that I-751 interviews are not needed due to the extremely low number of denials.

It's great we get information like that from USCIS directly about they are working to speed up the process.

Agree.  My rationale for eliminating the I-751 interview comes from the fact that in the 1st quarter of FY 2019, a total of 43, 588 I-751s were adjudicated.  Of those only 1287 were denied......that's less than 3%.......if 75% of the denials were ultimately appealed & approved, that pushes the denial rate for I-751s during that quarter to less than 1 %.....

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Makes total sense. I remember being very surprized by the low rate of denials for I-751's when I first saw someone post about it on VJ. That said, some of us will still probbaly end up with an interview since it just depends on each case individually.

I call us yesterday yesterday I am December 2017 Wac, I was transferred on May 29, 2019 to NBC, national benefits center, they told me that my case is handled by the California service center to start with the WAC receipt number, to you too  Did they send you that same letter they could give an interview?  I was sent to make biometric prints on June 12, 2019

I got the same letter as you.

When I call the automated number I get the message that it's still at Laguna Niguel which is the California Service center.

That's why it is so weird.

It's very strange, how much time do you have on hold?  I already have 18 months, did you make biometrics?

Biometrics was done in March. Had a waiver before that

Five of the cases I'm tracking flipped to card picked up by USPS...former status ready to schedule an interview.. that interesting news .. hopefully they keep pushing... That's how they will reduce backlog good cases with legit papers and no red flags will be done fast.. that's just my assumption.

That's awesome!  I'm sure tracking all these cases takes a lot of time - thanks!  Were these cases 19904XXX, 19905XXX etc?
