@Vitran you can move to California with your job while your I-751 case is processing.  You do however need to submit a change of address here = https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do.  Likewise reference your USCIS receipt#, and case# if that has been issued and assigned.

I just realized that if having a CR-1 visa means faster ROC processing, that could be another pro vs. con when it comes to those deciding about CR-1 vs. K-1.

@millefleur, why does CR-1 visa make for faster processing of the ROC? (BTW, we did CR-1 visa and our ROC took 17 1/2 months, and we received it when it was 40% of the case numbers around ours.)

I-751 only.  We're not eligible to file N-400 until January.  My thinking is that all of these, like ours, that are moving so swiftly are all cr-1 cases where they are pretty cut and dry.  No adjustment of status or fiancé visas involved.

What is the difference? More interviews?   Ours was a CR-1 cut and dry, no RFE or interview, but it still took 17 1/2 months.

We don't know that for sure, we are speculating based on what has been happening right now with cases being sent directly to MSC and then interviews scheduled.

Man I am happy for you, dont get me wrong,

I have got to move to Cali for my job and everything is on hold for this interview, I might even lose that job.

I only wished field offices didnt have anything with interview date.

Mine, Vegas, is the top 10 slowest of all.

You are in a tough situation!!  Really hoping it speeds up for you and you get your interview date soon.

Yes because if we moved they are going to transfer me to new local office and almost everybody saying it means : more and more delay .

Wish you go through your interview smoothly.

This is a reminder that we have an MSC tracking spreadsheet at the link below.  Please don't change the format of the spreadsheet when entering your data.  If you make a mistake that you cannot correct, please send me a private message, and I will try to help........I just restored a previous version due to the fact that someone accidentally eliminated a few rows and removed the empty rows (which allows more users to include their information)....

Thanks for your cooperation.....

One of the numbers I'm following to keep track of trend.. got new status .. the case was interview scheduled and now it's interview cancelled and notice mailed... I wonder if that means they waived the interview... Any other idea what that means..
