Hi everyone!
My husband and I submitted our I-751 in September 2020. I got an 18 month extension letter soon after that. Last July I had my biometrics taken and my status changed to “ready to schedule an interview “ on September 2021. In January 2022, I received my 24 month extension letter which expires this October.

Is anyone in a similar situation? I see some MSC—— cases are moving much faster than mine. I’m scared of losing my job because of not having a renewed green card by this October.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I got the 24 month extension on 12/31/21.  My status changed "January 5, 2022, we are ready to schedule your Form I-751".  It's been 5 months already.  Sometimes I fear the mailman put my interview notice in the wrong mailbox.

You can still check the status online and find out whether anything was mailed.

Go to uscis.gov and then go to check your case status.

Then you enter your receipt number.

Did they tell you ahead of time that it was a combo interview? My wife got her N400 interview notice for next month, but the I-751 is still stuck on

No, we got no official i751 interview notice that it was going to be an i751 combo interview just notice of the n400 interview.

But in our case we sent a service request in October for our i751 application being outside of processing time for the California service center. USCIS Sacramento office responded just after we got the n400 notice indicating that the i751 case would be adjudicated at the same time as the n400 interview.

You should expect a n400/i751 combo interview, that is the most likely thing to happen.

MSC is awol on everyone....may need to send a search party or something to check on them.  Like many Filed April 2021, Ready for interview on Dec 2021. Nothing since......ahh that joys of the USCIS.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

My wife was ready for Interview since September 11, 2019. So frustrating and yesterday was the first day past normal processing. We filed in May 24, 2019 so normal processing for us is 3 years 1 month which is absurd to call it normal.

And you still are waiting for an interview? Crazy! Why is that even allowed. What would you do if you are traveling outside the country?

My submission for my husband’s ROC was in October 2019 and I’m still waiting for an interview. We called last year when it was considered beyond normal processing times (before they extended it to 3 years) only to get a follow up more than 6 months later telling us there’s nothing to be done and that it’s now considered within normal processing times.

To think that this is where all of our tax dollars might be going…
