you are Lucky bro. speedy progress of your file. congrats and good luck.

Are you a K1 visa holder ?

I'm very surprised that it's been moving quickly so far. My AoS process was no where near as fast.

I was a F-1 visa holder, then AoS, now RoC.

can you ask your congressman to inquire? They are extremely helpful.

May I ask how you get to the Congressman? I called mine but they're all working remotely and are only accepting voicemail. Needless to say, I got no call back. I filed for I-751 in January 2019.

Usually, you go to the congressman’s web page and navigate to the congressional help site, where they have something like “help with agencies” and among those will be USCIS. Click there and you will find a form that you have to sign FIRST before they even call back. You need to enable your congressperson to inquire on your behalf, therefore you sign this form and send it to them via email.
Asking for help is best done via email. For this prepare a document like a letter, address it to

The Honorable [ Name]
House of Representatives

[address]
etc…

Your Name

address

email/phone

Date

Regarding form I751, Removal of Conditions, interview scheduling, USCIS application processing (whatever fits best to your problem)

Dear Honorable [name],

i am writing to you with the hope that you may be able to assist me with my case [case no at MSC] with USCIS. [Then follows a description of your issues, timeline, questions you may have.]

end letter with:

[attached are the following items:

confidentiality release form  [the form that enables the congressperson to inquire on your behalf]
evidence (whatever your question is, when you called uscis, Emma chat screen shots, if available, whatever you think is needed.]

I would be very happy if you could consider my request for help and inquire on my behalf regarding the progress of my application

Sincerely,

[name printed

Signature]

———————————-

prepare this as a pdf, Print it out, sign it (or use signature (handwriting) as image on the form if you have it) don’t forget all the evidence if needed, DON‘T FORGET THE RELEASE FORM !
This is your help request package to send via email to the Congressperson.

attach all this to an email that says:

Dear Honorable [name],

my name is…. And I am writing to as for your help with …. Regarding my I751 application with USCIS.
Please find attached the release form (look at the name of the form and use that name), case description and evidence.

I am happy to answer any questions that you may have.,

Sincerely,

name

attachments.

This will hopefully get you an answer/ email back. It may take a while, because they are overwhelmed with inquiries. However, you need to make sure to write in the official form and to attach the release form. If they get „casual“requests, they usually don’t answer.

Which district are you, if I may ask?

Every process and file is unique I guess. I think Who has AOS done, their files are process fast as their interview and fingerprint done in US already.

Good luck.

GIGANTIC SIGH OF RELIEF! Oh.my.Gosh Yay...

19 days after the Combo interview, status for both I-751 and N-400 have FINALLY been updated, now in line for the Oath ceremony. The finish line is getting super close, I'm so stoked 🙂

3 years and 8 months since our I-130 was sent, man that feels good!

Sending good vibes to everyone that is still waiting, your turn will come soon!

Approved!.thumb.jpeg.1e56859e2dca9e95182c63119de58cc0.jpeg

Congratulations!  For the combo interview, did USCIS notify you that it will be a combo interview?  Our N400 interview is coming up and hoping it will be a combo interview.  Thanks!

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

No they do not notify or mention that the interview will be a "combo". Both my statuses (N-400 first, then I-751) changed within hours saying interviews were scheduled. I received two appointment letters, one for each, showing the appointments at the exact same date and time.

The funny part is that the USCIS building in San Francisco is at an intersection, with entrances on each street. The appointment letters were indicating two different addresses, though they lead to the same spot. I was aware of the configuration so I didn't worry too much, but I can see it being a ####### moment if you are not familiar with the building.

I'v heard that sometimes, they conduct the I-751 at the N-400 even if you haven't received the letter. If the officer has the whole file with them it might be possible? I'm sure they will let your spouse get in if you only have the N400 letter with you though...

How long did the N400 process take out of interest? I am going to be doing the same in November and pretty much expect to have both interviews at the same time as MSC is so slow, had my biometrics done back on July 7th and still my USCIS status is case has been received haha. Still a way to go but can't for this all to be over.

Applied 11-05-2020

NOA 12-15-2020

biometrics reused (letter sometimes in March 2021)

status changed to “interview scheduled” 07-06-2021, received letter 4 days later

Combo interview 08-06 (Passed!)

status changed to “approved” for i-751 on 08-25

status changed to “oath ceremony will be scheduled” on 08-25… waiting for that letter!

So from the time I’ve applied to itw, 9 months. Not that bad actually, lawyers told me to expect 1 year.

ROC took 22 months.

Hi there.. yes, I am waiting for Atlanta. I have no advice, sadly. I filed in June/July 2020 and it already was a journey with USCIS biometrics. I had to involve my congressman. I am waiting in line for interview now since April 7. When I was getting the bio done at the ASC, the lady at the intake told me to not forget to get a stamp, because it will likely take up to 2 years for an interview slot.
your hope is that you are nearly there!
can you ask your congressman to inquire? They are extremely helpful.

Thanks. Yes I can ask a Representative here in Augusta. But I don't believe this system will react on them. I hope you get your interview soon and we are interested if you do. Can you give us a message?

Will do!
I think for me it was important to involve the congressperson to have the answers they get on file. MSC has an issue with my address-so important appointment notices don’t get delivered. I hope that is now amended with the help of the office. I can call 400 times and it still happens. However, the office keeps me updated, because they inquire interview scheduling status and address on file regularly. They monitor my case without me having to inquire constantly.
I may just have a really involved congressperson.
