Talked to representative and senator, they both said they can't help with biometrics and can't ask for updates until we're out of processing time (36 months!!). Ombudsman would probably say the same.

Even got a call back from a tier 2 agent who said to continue to wait, that Covid has delayed everything. :( Just submitted N400, so we'll see if that moves anything.

Hey everyone!
May 2019 MSC filler - Seattle field office.

I finally got my status changed to interview was Scheduled after 2 years. Super excited and happy I am almost done with this journey.
Still haven’t applied for N 400 but was literally going to do it one of these days but not sure what to do now since I will have my I 751 interview on July 14 th.

Me and my wife scheduled trips for whole summer and were supposed to be gone all summer but now when I finally have interview date my plans will change.
does anyone know if my wife has to be in the interview with me or its going to be solo?

We were gonna go visit friend in Texas and I would feel really bad to ruin her plans and make her not go,

other question is if I apply for N400 now ( weeks before my i751 interview) is there any chance that they will do both cases at the same time? What do you guys think should i apply at all or just wait?
any help or advice would be appreciated!

stay patient and strong, i totally didn’t expect this but got sooo happy when saw status changed this morning!

Since it is joint-filing, then your wife has to be with you. The interview letter will state so as well.

Agree both of you should attend the interview, and I would suggest you wait until after that interview and receipt of 10 YR GC to file N400.  If you file for N400 now, I highly doubt they will interview so quickly.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

I finally received good news from USCIS, which is that my case was approved. Filed in May, 2019 and I have been waiting for my interview to be scheduled for almost two years, now my case was approved without an interview.

Congrats!!   Did you also applied for N-400 ?  or just I-751  ?
