Processing Times (I-751) for MSC (National Benefits Center)

Hey! Congratulations! What was your local office? Hoping they do this for the tristate area too because it's been a little less than 1 year and we haven't gotten our biometrics yet (Jun2020 MSC filer). Contacted tier 1 and they said its still waiting on the pipeline for scheduling.

6-08-20 I-751 Package sent

6-09-20 I-751 Package received 

06-15-20 Received text with receipt number (MSC-XXX)

06-16-20 Check cashed 

07-09-20 Called USCIS to enquire about NOA-1. Was told it was sent on 07-01-20.

07-11-20 Received 18-month extension letter NOA dated 06-30-20

05-03-20 Received Biometric Appointment scheduled for May24th (NY/NJ area)

6-16-17 I-130 sent 

6-20-17 received NOA 1 Texas Service Center

1-24-18 NOA 2 approved 

2-23-18 NVC Received my case

3-30-18 Case Number Assigned

4-3-18 Welcome Letter email from NVC

4-4-18 Paid AOS and IV Fees 

4-10-18 Sent AOS package and Civil Documents 

4-11-18 NVC Processed all fees and Completed D260 form 

4-12-18 NVC Received packet 

4-13-18 NVC Scanned all documents

4-25-18 Case Complete at NVC ("At NVC")

4-26-18 Interview Scheduled (I called to find out

4-28-18 Received P4 from NVC

6-15-18 Interview Date!

Hello! What number did you call to get a status update? My case has been stuck at ready to schedule an interview since Oct 21, 2020. Filed Jan 2020.

 The letter arrived last week. We are been scheduled to May 21/ 2021.

We are also in Connecticut and had our fingerprints done on Dec 7. Since then we have had our fingers crossed :D that hopefully we will hear back from them soon, if the local office is aligning by fingerprint dates...

the usual toll free number for USCIS:

try saying technical problem or schedule infopass to get through to a normal human in tier 1.
 
What's your local office? I know someone from NY/NJ who has been waiting for interview longer than yours. they filed Jun2019 and are MSC as well.

That’s my office, too! You know how backlogged they are? 
 

When I did bio in ATL, the officer told me remember to schedule an infopass, since it can take 2 more years to get the interview.

When I did bio in ATL, the officer told me remember to schedule an infopass, since it can take 2 more years to get the interview. 

I think i am going to have to do that as my extension expires in oct’21 and there is still no sign of an interview.

how long did it take to get fingerprints after NOA1? I’m hoping to travel internationally and want biometrics first.

Peomedy is 2and half month from the time you filled I have 3 friends of mine that have the same time too they filled. Sept 26 2019 got the finger print 10 and 15 dic

Finished my interview today and within 30 minutes, my online case status changed to New Card is Being Produced. Here is my timeline. Local office was Des Moines, Iowa.
 
April 21, 2021 New Card Is Being Produced
March 12, 2021 We scheduled an interview for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.
February 17, 2021 We are ready to schedule your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, for an interview.
December 10, 2020 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, were taken.
April 24, 2020 We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.

So I just received an email that the case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. Local office is Hartford, CT. I was wondering if this means the interview is now necessary or could this move to case approved in the next few days as well? I thought I had seen cases where people had received this notice only to see that their case was approved soon after without an interview...

It really can go either way. There's no way of knowing till the next update.
