Hello All. My wife and I are April 2019 filers. Our case has been ready to schedule an interview since September 2, 2019 but has been stuck at the NBC since.  We've called numerous times and still have not got any feedback on when our interview will be scheduled. Just called again this morning and after being placed on a brief hold we were told that USCIS is currently working on Feb. 2019 cases and that the best she could tell us is that we'd have to wait another 11-26 months. Not from the time we filed in April, 2019, which is already 24 months. An extra 11-26 months from this date, April, 5, 2021...I know that there is a lot going on in the world and I live by the saying 'It ain't all waiting on you'. But this is ridiculous. Recently contacted our congresswoman. Hopefully that will make a difference. To everyone else in the same boat, and I know there a many, hang in there. It will come to pass.

We filed in June 2019 and were waiting for an interview since Sept. 2019.  Today we got notice, "Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed."   But no interview ever took place.  Anyone have this experience?

Does for me. Many filled it out already. Thank you so much!

I added a column that is also helpful. The duration from ready for interview to the actual interview.

Maybe you can add one more for the whole process duration.

July 2019 filer with MSC number.  Waited 560 days for interview that never took place.   Just received "Case was approved" for the I-751 ROC.  How many days after this notice do folks receive the green card?  Any idea?

Its good to see some movement since i last checked this forum. Congratulations to all who have been approved! We had biometrics done in December in Connecticut but since then its been quiet. We filed in June 2020 so I wanted to know if we will be eligible to apply for N-400 in June this year? Still hoping to get an approval for I-751 but also want to begin preparing the N-400 application if I-751 is not approved by then and we can apply for N-400..

Congrats!  Did you also file for N400?  I've had the "waiting for interview to be scheduled" status since May 2019....applied for N400 in June 2020.

I-130 (for parents of US Citizens):

8/19/2022: NOA (IOE0917XXXXXX); Texas Service Center

7/22/2023: Both (parents) petitions approved

7/27/2023: Both cases sent to NVC

8/8/2023: Received NVC welcome email for both parents

Yes.  At the end of June 2020 we filed the N400.  But we also sent a letter to our congressman in March.   In addition, the anti-immigrant political appointees of the Trump administration have been fired.   Since they opposed legal immigration as well, they implemented the December 2018 internal policy that required interviews for all I 751 applicants causing a bottleneck and a backlog of cases which was part of their plan to dismantle legal immigration without Congress.  So it may be that the new folks are waiving the interview requirement and my guess is that they will be doing away with the Dec. 2018 policy in the future.

No interviews in USA with the CR1.   Before the  policy change, interviews were to detect fraud and were only done for about 5% of I-751 applicants whose documentation was insufficient or showed red flags.  Interviewing 100% of the applicants obviously created a log jam which was the point of the exercise. (i.e. to slow walk legal immigration)

So glad that your long wait ended with an approval without interview! Fingers crossed for all the rest who have been waiting for years to also speed through to an approval.
