Well Wes is getting right into his job I see. I am sure it is hard to learn all the brands and such now but he should have a helper with him to train him. Being out and mingling with the residents should be good for him. Plus, he can meet some new friends and enjoy being productive. Will continue to look for updates and like the others said I think you should consider writing as a career. :)

He made it! It MUST be tough..I wouldn't know all that stuff either possibly, and I've lived here all my life! I'm sure after a week or two he will find it easier, but it must seem like being thrown right into the deep end at the moment...surely there MUST be someone training him??? good grief if no!!! Anyway, congrats on making it through :) and we'll hope for a Coyote Guy story soon!!! Enjoy the baked steak!! We're off to Peking(chinese obviously!) soon! :) :) :) Michelle & Craig

He's whacked! I made him tea while supper was finishing. He's eaten and is now crashed on the bed.

In typical Wesley fashion, the first thing he wanted to share with me (after a smooch) was to tell me about the lovely sandwich one of the deli clerks had made him today. It's all about food......

What we have here is not only a case of a new job coupled with culture shock, but also the fact that he has been a house husband for a little over 6 months. Funny, I hadn't noticed his ### getting broader...lol!

Yeah he's got people with him - but I bet you dollars to donuts by weeks end they will be trying to turn him loose on his own.

haha great story, congrats to Wes on his backwoods podunkville experience. I too grew up in towns just like this, so it makes me giggle to think about the sort of culture shock this must be to him.. lol!

Congrats on landing a job!

Hey Rebeccajo how is Wes enjoying his job? It is about one week now into it and wondering if he had settled in and enjoying himself. I am sure he met some nice people and am sure they are loving his accent. Look forward to an update.

LOL Mary...thanks for asking!

Well, a few things have happened. He got his first paycheck, so that's good. He had his first night on his own there last night. I'll be anxious to find out (when he gets there today) if his register came out okay and if he locked the place up properly.

Oh - he has an 18 year old girlfriend - LOL - her name is Whitney and she comes in to hear the voice!!!

He has worked every day since last Saturday and doesn't get a day off till Monday. I hope we can go get him a better pair of shoes that day - his feet are really tired by the end of his shift.

Thanks for the update I was sure he would have some admirers of his voice. Sounds like he has been staying busy with learning the ins and out of his job. Hope he can get some new and comfy shoes soon.
