:dance: :dance: Well my guy arrived safe and sound today at 4:30 PM! I can't believe it is actually happening - finally together with no more separation!! :D

Unbelievable, I spent 21 years in India as just a simple village kid, often with no running water and electricity, thinking I never would return to USA; and he grew up in a family who are illiterate and just tilled the land (they still live in a mud house in a small village with no running water). With his determination and sheer hard work he got a degree and became an accountant and auditor. Unbelievable we both made it to USA! :yes:

He had a smooth flight (the first in his life) from Hyderabad to Dubai to Hamburg to JFK to LAX to Fresno. Only he said he was grilled a lot at JFK. They questioned him for half an hour, cross-examining him about our age difference, how much money he brought in, and even if he GOT IT ON (with finger motions!!!) with me!!!!!!!! :o Can you believe!!! :protest: Finally they let him pass but it was a major trauma. He said it was MUCH worse than the interview at the Consulate! :crying: (I'll get more details later & post them.)

Anyway all is rosy now, he got his EAD in JFK (YEA!) and after resting a few days he will start ESL classes & hopefully some nearby part time employment. :whistle:

2007-02-15 -- NOA1 for I130 from California Service Center.

2007-02-22 -- I129F filed with Chicago USCIS office.

2007-03-02 -- NOA1 for 129F from MSC.

2007-03-27 -- Touched -- I129F transfered to CSC.

2007-03-28 -- I129F Touched !!

2007-05-17 -- I 130 and I 129F touched!!!! God please get me a approval without a RFE. You can do it please!!!

2007-05-18 -- I-130 and I-129F approved!!!! Dear God, thank you very much. You are the greatest!!

2007-05-22 -- I-130 and I-129F approval notice recieved in mail

2007-05-29 -- Case received at NVC and case number assigned.

2007-05-31 -- Case left NVC to chennai consulate

2007-06-14 -- packet 4 mailed by the consulate

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

My most heartful... CONGRATULATIONS to you both...

I was just remembering the questions you had concerning NYC and sleeping... What happened there.?

I am soooo happy for the two of you... I bet Nagarjuna is walking around in such a daze.. kinda like letting a two year old out free to roam in a candy store... ..
