Hi LIfiler17,

How are you?

I remember we submitted almost at the same time and I was wondering whether you have any news from NVC.

Hi, yes! Interview scheduled for March 12. It went really fast after I submitted all the docs to NVC.. how goes it there?

Hello!

This is great news from you!!! I'm so happy about your interview!

Unfortunately, I have no news from NVC and I have not been approved yet; also, my husband's name is still misspelled.

We submitted on January 8th, 2020. When was your submission?

Please, keep me up-to-date: it makes me happy to know about April 2019's submitters!

Cheers!

My lawyer asked me to fill the form for the Public Charge questionnaire, just to be sure we are all set in case the consulate will ask for it. Has anybody here any experience about that form?

By the way, NVC has corrected my husband's surname; this is a small progress but I am so happy the did it.

Filed at 4/24/2019 to Nebraska, case was transferred twice, the last transfer was to Texas Service Center on 4/27/2020. It's been 13 months and still haven't heard anything back. Is this normal? Should I call USCIS to figure out what happened?

Hello, i guess we are in the same boat.

Case filed 4/10/2019 and the only update was on March 2nd 2020, saying case was transferred to another office. I never received any letter from USCIS regarding this. So i emailed them after a month and the response came from Vermont Service Center (original case was in Nebraska SC)

saying that they're still waiting on a Background check clearance for them to process my wife's application.

If you call they won't help, and they'll say it's still within normal processing times and to wait. Good luck for all of us, please keep me updated.

Anyone whose case was Approved on end of April, have you received a Welcome letter from NVC yet. I have been waiting for more than SIX weeks now. I have emaied NVC, they said i have to wait for the response from email. USCIS says it may take 90 days for them to send the welcome letter. But, for some people its gets approved today and in two days they get email from NVC. I am very worry about my case. Please let me know

Thanks

Our case was lost for 5 month in transfer from USCIS to NVC. Took senator inquiry to make things rolling. Don’t wait much longer. Start calling them and send emails with inquiries. Good luck!

Nvc replied they havenot received our case on inquiry whereas UScis has told to wait for 90 days. Both replies arent helpful . Did yu get similar response on inquiry?? What sort of other inquires can be made ??

Weren't you part of the initial pilot program? They all had 5/6+ months wait for getting to NVC because they hadn't streamlined the electronic transfers yet.

I am not sure what else can be done other than involving the senator. Good luck!

Well, our PD is April 29, 2019. NOA2 is dated December 13, 2019. 7.5 month is not exactly pilot timelines, although the letter from ISCIS said that we are.
USCIS was saying they forwarded our case to NVC February 7th and NVC was saying that they haven’t received anything until end of April. I wish we would start inquiring sooner than March. It was past 90 days when we involved the senator.
