Hi everyone. Our NOA2 is dated 23rd October, but we haven't heard anything from the NVC yet. Considering it has now been just over a month, when should we expect to hear something? And will that communication be sent to the petitioner or the beneficiary? Thanks.

I had my NOA2 about a week before you and only just received an email off the NVC on Friday. So you'll hopefully hear something in the next week! 😃

Oh that's great to hear! Thank you :)

Can someone provide me with an idea of what the interview is like for a stand-alone step-child who I petitioned for and received the approval?  Is it necessary for me to attend the interview?  My husband has his 10 year visa and we have provided her with all original copies of proof submitted with the petition.

Hi Matt, thanks for writing.
No news for us yet, still waiting. Our case on USCIS page is still showing October 11th as the last update. I think it means that they haven’t touched our case in 2 month.

I am finding out that every case recently approved in Texas is the SRC, not IOE like ours.
The USCIS app is informative. I have searched and found out that erroneous cases started just before 800 (last three digits of the receipt number) and counted that we are 31st in line for review/approval. One case was approved since I posted that first picture. It is only 3 receipts ahead of us (see attached new screenshot). Don’t know the processing center. App doesn’t provide that kind of info.

We are trying to stay optimistic. My husband is sure this will be the approval week for us (he has been very reassuring for about a month now)!

How are you doing? Anything new for you?

Here's hoping! I have a number ending with 4480 so I am not sure where that puts me - what app are you using for the mass checking?

I am hoping we all get that treat for the holidays!

as for me, ahh just trying to get by and believe that things will work out in the end.

Best wishes, Matt.

Wow! There is a couple of thousands applications between your and our cases just within IOE receipts.

What is your PD (Priority Date) and Processing Center?

April 29th and at Texas Service Centre

I don't understand how those numbers work.
