Hello Miriamc, my husband and I got a RFE exactly for the same reason than you 🤔... divorce decree in English (which we -like you- definitely had mailed with our petition)... We are sending it back tomorrow (express way). Which me luck 😉 - I wish you good luck for the rest of your process 🤩

I’m sorry to hear. I know super frustrating when it’s a doc you already submitted... but what can you do!? Best of luck . Good news is Texas seems to be pretty quick to review rfe’s( my rfe was mailed to me 10/01 , I sent it back ASAP and got my noa2 10/23) . Others have had similar timelines too. you should have your noa2 very very soon. Best of luck and keep us posted .

Hey guys - how long would you say I hold before calling for a status update since my time line shows - Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between October 18, 2019 and November 9, 2019*.

I get that, that is estimated but it's also not helping that my case number does not work. I have the IOE which I saw other saying they had the same issue -

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:#

As always, any advise would be wonderful, I am finding it hard to believe all is OK although it should me.

Thank you for your kind words. Since we received our RFE, I read so many post about couples going through the same situation (and much much worth) so we consider that (for now!) we are just fine. Take care :)

I have the same issue with IOE receipt. Last update date on MyUSCIS page is October 11. Texas is our SC. PD April 29.

Husband called yesterday. Case is under normal processing time, no other updates for us. They are saying to wait. Currently their processing times for Texas is 8.5 to 11 month.

Estimator on VJ says that we should be receiving response from them soon, but this is only an estimate.

It's a real PITA not having any kind of timeline, it makes arrangements and logistics incredibly hard to figure out. Me and Zach are 6.5 months in so I guess they will just tell us to go away for another 4 / 5 moths.

This is my second time going though this process and buy it never gets any easier.

Best wishes, Matt

Someone in one of my CR1 visa fbook groups posted an inquiry today. They are waiting for NOA2 since April 6, 2018!!!

While I do understand that every case is different, this kind of timeline is outrageous!

I agree, not knowing part is hard.

Waiting is hard. Logistics and planning are completely impossible.

I have question for you. Do you at least see the date changing on your MyUSCIS page? Ours was updating often between May and July. Then stuck at August 7, September 5, October 11 (our current one). I read about this and when date is changing it means they are working on the case. Something gets updated and it prompts to change the date.

My husband and I are ‘lucky’. We are only 80 km apart from each other and he visits every weekend. And even that arrangement is not quite how we picture our married life. I can only imagine how hard it is for people who are not able to see each other during the process.

Good luck to all of us. Hopefully soon we all will receive the good news 🇺🇸

My husband did not set up the new MYUSCIS so we don't have access to that however he did call today and they said that it was still pending and to wait as they were still working on December 2018 - The usual response without elevating to a higher up.

Yeah, distance and actually wanting desperately to get on with our lives. I have missed some opportunities because I couldn't give dates and having to live from boxes as I have stuff stores in the US and some stuff in the UK.

However i can see the light, even if it's looking like summer next year, it will come around.

The person waiting since April 6 2018 - did they explain what had happened, did they get Ref's for something? That seems like something went really wrong.

No, they didn’t have any RFE and submitted outside of normal processing time request. Called multiple times and getting the response that their case is pending in queue. I just hope this will not happen in our case!!!

Good luck to you and keep us updated in case you hear the good news.

Cheers to the weekend! I will be married tonight again, even if it is only until Sunday afternoon...

Thank you,

Hi everyone. Our NOA2 is dated 23rd October, but we haven't heard anything from the NVC yet. Considering it has now been just over a month, when should we expect to hear something? And will that communication be sent to the petitioner or the beneficiary? Thanks.
