We did. So far, I cannot see any advantage, but nothing happened since we submitted our petition (receipt date was April 3rd, 2019).

We expected some delays because we are both divorced.

We see cases differ a lot - and of course processing times also depend on the Service Center, whether the petitioner is US citizen or not, and...luck?

Makes sense. I was contemplating on dropping mine after the approval, but wasn't sure if there was an advantage to keeping him up until the interview.. Shockingly, I was surprised to see permanent residents processing times were a little less than actual US residents requests. ..a bit strange, but hey as long as we get through right? lol

Is your husband a US citizen?

My husband is, therefore we guess the number of available VISAs shoul not be limited. On the contrary, it should be for permanent residents; so, they are processed asap to give a chance to get their VISAs as soon as they are available.

Am I correct? Please, correct me in case I am wrong. I am reading a lot of web info trying to get an idea about how the "wheels spin"...

What was in October 25th? Is your date in myUSCIS changing? Mine stuck at October 11th as the last update on the file. I am tired of waiting and seeing no progress on my case when some July filers are getting approved

Hey jstriders,

Maybe you have to refresh your page 😉 - Igor's list https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=2&visa=3&scenter=3&option=3&sortby=2

It is indeed super frustrating 🙄

Thanks for clarifying that you were talking about Igor’s list. I should have just known, right?

No problem. Since Igor's list is on visajourney.com, I figured you were talking about that list too. What other list are you refering to then?

Hello,

We did. It does (obviously) not accelerate the process (which is normal) but it certainly helps to file properly.

Are you thinking about taking a lawyer?
