I received my NOA2 on 4/2/19, what should I expect now? About how long for it to get to NVC?  I read that something ships every other Tuesday, what was it?

Not sure exactly on when they ship things. Could be also by hemisphere when they ship. Usually can take 2 weeks then could call and get a case number from NVC. Hard copy probably 3-4 weeks, depends, NVC sometimes get's slow. But as soon as you have the NVC case number you can track the petition on CEAC.

Goodness, that’s a long wait, did you call to find out? Or waited for the letter?

I received my email before the letter came in the mail. I waited for 30 days when I first received my NOA2 and then I called.  they told me that NVC had not received it yet and then shortly after that I received the email.  it takes about 30-60 days.  During the time I was waiting the government was shut down also but as soon as the Government opened back up, my process stared to move quickly.  I am at a stand still now because I had to resubmit my husband's passport because it was blurry.  I called them today and they stated that it has not been reviewed and that it takes about 3 weeks.  Saturday will be two weeks. But I feel like it will be before that because every time I call days later I have the answer to my question.

OP you may benefit from visiting the regional forum for the Caribbean for embassy specific assistance. At this stage, things tend to become different for one embassy or another and you may get an idea of what to expect from others going through the same step.

Join us over in the April NOA2 to NVC where we answer questions like yours.

It is now taking 4 weeks from noa2 to nvc. Another 2 weeks to assign a case number and depending  when that is it will determine your shipping date to the embassy.  They ship out every other Tuesday and next shipment is April 16.
