Yes, cold feet, because it's a big deal to make a permanent and my parents have a miserable marriage. I think it's normal; one would be nervous before making other life-changing decisions, this one's no different except more permanent.

But yours doesn't have to be miserable. Coming from a miserable former marriage myself it took me awhile to *want* a new relationship. Once I let myself go and believe in Joel, I knew for sure this was going to last. There went any possibility of cold feet.
