He actually had to hold my hands to keep me from running away during the ceremony, and it was probably about 8-9 months after we were married before I got over my cold feet.

No idea why. Absolutely none. I love him, I knew I wanted to marry him, not worried about any of the things you mentioned or anything else that came to mind ... just this weird feeling that I was making the wrong decision. Even though I knew I wasn't.

We'll have been married three years in July.

Wow! that sounds bad! I'm glad to hear you got over it :)

I think it's normal to feel a little spooked about marriage...it is a big commitment, a big change, and a risk in many ways.

still, I can't wait to take that risk with my fiance ;)

I didn't have cold feet either - I couldn't wait to get married.

Before we applied for the fiance visa it made me a bit scared to get married. But once we applied for the visa and we knew it was for real I was excited.

And then when my (now) husband arrived - ecstatic and even more sure he is the one for me - the one I want to marry and spend the rest of my life with.

Neither of us had cold feet...no doubts, no fears, just sublime happiness that we were finally able to get to this point. Maybe it was because we have good communication between us. We talk everything out, talk about anything. One thing that never came up though was the cold feet issue. It just wasn't an issue at all. :)

at first I thought this post was about actual cold feet  which I do have a lot of the time...

but no I had no cold feet when it came time to get married etc... I knew he was the one from the moment I first saw him in person and there wasn't a doubt in my mind that I was going to marry him...
