It's my understanding that a K-1 from Cuba would be eligible to file their I-485 under the CAA whether or not they married their US citizen petitioner. The CAA is a very powerful tool for anyone who qualifies to use it.

Yeah it was my understanding that cubans were able to do their own AOS surrendering at a poe with their cuban passport because they’d be considered exiles if they leave Cuba or something like that, they can’t even be deported after serving time in jail because Cuba doesn’t accept them back. I don’t know the exact politics behind it tbh but i did know about the whole AOS thing and the wet/dry foot thing 🤔🤔🤔 remember the elian Gonzalez debacle 👌🏽
