Hey guys, just wanted to know if its mandatory that I attend my fiances interview in Santo Domingo? I'm about 7 months pregnant and the interview isn't going to be for like another month so I'm pretty sure I wont be able to attend so would like some clarification. Thank you!

Since you’re pregnant they’ll understand.  The interview is less than 10 mins.  Just make sure you have everything ready.  At me and my husbands  interview they didn’t ask for any of the documents but you never know how the interviewer might feel so have them ready.  You may also want to send a doctors note stating you’re 8 months pregnant and can’t travel.

  • 1 month later...

While it is true that the interview is extremely short (about 5 minutes in our case), I would highly recommend that you be there if you can.  If you are not cleared to fly by your OBGYN, I would have them write that in a letter so your fiance can bring that with him the day of the interview.  I was not required to be there for my husbands interview, but they were very happy to see me there.  Good luck! :)
