I think by reading all these posts that the Consulate officer asks different questions to everyone.....depending on the officer I guess. I wish it was all just standard and they had to ask certain questions and that is it. But then what fun would it be??!?!?!!!???

I was given my passports back and had to send them in with the divorce decree. The Consulate officer said everything is in order and they just needed the divorce decree.....so as far as I'm concerned it is approved pending the final processing. It gives me something to worry about is all. I was kinda hoping they would have done it. I guess my case isn't any more a rush than the rest of them. (yup, still feeling sad that I hadn't gotten it right in the first place......urgh!!!)

well, i just mean they didnt ask how we met, how long together, anything that we heard them asking other couples that day. they didnt ask for his updated financial stuff, my xrays, police certificate, they asked for nothing, they asked no questions. i figured since it was a spousal visa they might ask something about our relationship...anything. and since i've read how others didn't have enough proof or affidavit of support and such....but we got nothing but her attitude.

Yep still nothing for us. We better get some notice by tomorrow, or I'm going to pepper their dumbheads with phone calls and emails all over again haha.

would it kill them to just do ONE thing on time for us? they've dragged it on and on and on and on and on for a couple years, and most people here waited a few months. and there was never any reason for their actions, never an explanation. and that's the part that pisses me off. just send the visa! we've been kissing your assssses for over 2 years. *throws a tantrum* the lady said NEXT DAY since they took so long with everything else. we even sent a whole SECOND envelope, in case they've lost it since it's been so long.

i just sent them an email. once again people's cases after ours have received their things. and in this case, their visas. it's been TWO MONTHS SINCE THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE TWO DAYS.

and once again...everything works out timely for others. and i'm happy for everyone; however, i want to be happy for us, too :/ sigh

thanks every time i hear the door my heart races, but it's never the mailman, hah. i wrote them a short email, asking if they have received it and if it has been processed, kinda playing the dummy card, but i just want to know. every weekend when my husband comes we think it's the last weekend, but it never is. maybe this weekend...

Yep, it's official, I'm calling the Consulate today to see what the hell is going on. Next day does not mean a week later, especially when this should've been done 2 months ago. I swear to God once I'm done with the Consulate in Montreal I'm erasing Quebec off of all the maps I find so that I can hopefully forget about their stupidity Ha.

lmao.....I just did the same thing. I sent them an email. Unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere and we don't have "mail delivery"...so at least I'm not waiting to pounce on some unsuspecting mailmain!!! lol

well, now they're saying it will be sent out next monday. WHY? everyone else who had theirs AFTER us already received theirs. said it was printing out today but the mail had already gone out. yeah whatever.

since when do they send our visas on monday anyway. this is another one of their freakin lies. they keep feeding us bullshizznizz. it's been two months, get with the program. stop lying. stop pretending like we did something wrong. YOU did something wrong. instead of fixing it, you're punishing us further.

they better send it out monday like they said. no one else on here has had problems with them like we have FOR NO REASON. and if you have, share. we had interview, didn't look at our docs, said denied, we sent in the stuff for her to actually read, she said two days, turned into 5 weeks, said send passport, approved, will be sent the next day, no explanation, no apology, nothing, we send it in that afternoon, two weeks pass, we finally get in contact with them, they say oh it's being reviewed, reviewed?, it's already been approved, lawyer calls, oh we JUST printed out the visa they say but too late to send out today will send monday. they dont send out visas mondays, as far as ive seen.

OK...so I emailed the Consulate in Vancouver and they said "yes the K1 and K2 Visa's are approved and are being prepared to be sent out today via Canada Post Express Mailer".

Now I'm checking with Cda Post and it still shows nothing in their system...go figure.

I guess I will have to wait until Monday to check to see if they have updated the system. Or gee....I just might get my envelope in the mail before they update the bloody thing.

the envelope with my passport TO montreal says it was received and signed for on the 23rd. if montreal sent it the next day, it would've appeared on the tracking online, eh? when they asked for my passport they said it would be sent out the next day, so i'm just curious. did anyone have an interview around that time- did they send yours? i'm not complaining at this point about the waiting by any means, we've waited a couple years, haha, we both would just feel better once it's finally in the mail. just curious. and antsy i know USPS didn't update right away but was behind.

When did you have your interview? I had my interview on May 31st. My passport arrived in Mississauga, Ontario today June 4th along with the Top Secret yellow envelope that I have to take to the border.

she decided to make up lies about me having apparantly been in the US illegally, with nothing to back it up- said denied. our lawyer sent in our documents asking her to actually look at them and we got the senator involved and she took 5 weeks to "review" then said oh send the passport friday may 18. we send it that afternoon. still nothing yet. they keep playing games with us. no record of it on canada post. emailed them, lawyer called them, the lady said it was "JUST printed" and will be sent out. i don't see why after they made up lies they also decided to take 5-6 weeks to review something that they already had at the interview but she refused to read anything. and now they're playing more games with us.

i'm sick of this.

everyone else has received their stuff.

it's been 2 months. we did nothing wrong, they kept lying then not telling us why, then ignoring us, then yelling at us. it's a mess.

she emailed and said i should be RECEIVING it today or tomorrow, but it hasnt been sent yet.

i have no idea what their problem has been with us from the beginning

quic edit: oh and also, i keep reading how everyone after us has receivd theirs, so they're purposely avoiding ours again. for no reason. she did something stupid at the interview and instead of trying to fix it she keeps giving us more #######, like WE did something wrong. they're not backed up... look at all of you who've received your visas. this is bullshiit
